Dan worked for three years as a senior lawyer at Globeleq, advising internal deal teams on a number of independent power projects in Africa. Dan specialises in energy and infrastructure projects, whether structured as greenfield developments, acquisitions or privatisations, focusing on the underlying commercial agreements. He trained at Clifford Chance and subsequently worked as an associate in its Worldwide Projects and Energy Group. He spent time in the firm’s London, Singapore and Prague offices before undertaking a two-year secondment to its Moscow office. He has an LLB from Durham University, an LLM from University College London and an Executive MBA from London Business School.
