Jonathan Hutchins is an Investment Principal with the recently launched Actis Infrastructure Fund and assisted with the establishment of the Empower business.  A qualified solicitor, he was General Counsel for Globeleq Ltd from 2002 to 2007 and has 14 years experience in power, energy and project finance, and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Globeleq Jonathan worked for CDC and spent five years at Clifford Chance in the worldwide projects group (London and Dubai offices) where he represented a number of leading international power developers.

Jonathan was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1996. He holds an MPhil degree from the University of Cambridge and a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Durham.
