Prior to joining Empower, Luka was a director in the Africa business development team at Globeleq. He has extensive experience of developing, acquiring and financing power generation and distribution projects across Africa and until recently was a director of Umeme Limited, the Ugandan electricity distribution concessionaire. He previously worked at CDC Capital Partners and as a project developer for an engineering firm in Croatia. Luka holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Zagreb in Croatia and an MBA from the IESE Business School in Barcelona.
